Valentine’s date idea 1: bathing

Enjoy all of site bathing and the serenity of must-indulge feature of Metung Hot Springs, our Hilltop Escarpment bathing area. This tranquil communal bathing experience is reserved for guests 16 years and older, offers spectacular views of the Gippsland lakes while immersed in mineral-rich, geothermal waters.

Our hot springs pools throughout our Bathing Ridge and Hilltop Escarpment can hold up multiple guests, so they’re great for double dates, too!

Hilltop Escarpment features include a star gazing pool, individual bathing barrels, spotted gum barrel bath. Our Bathing Ridge bathing and wellness experiences include three fully submergible pools, a shallow accessible trail pool, a reflexology walk, sauna, cold plunge, and geothermal showers.

Metung Hot Springs is open until 8pm. You’ll choose an arrival time when booking.

Valentine’s date idea 2: dine at Metung Country Club

When it comes to what to do in Metung at night, Metung Country Club offers a dining experience with a difference with views overlooking the lush greens of one of Australia’s best nine-hole golf courses.

THE CLUBHOUSE offers a menu that showcases regional produce and beers, wine, and cocktails, open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (6pm-8pm) and all day dining 7 days a week from 11am - 5pm if you can only get away when the kids are at school.

The CLUBHOUSE will be open for a one off Valentine’s dinner seating on Tuesday 14th 2023, for just $75 per head with a set menu of Valentine’s Day specials.
