  • We are located at 73 Storth Ryes Avenue, Metung, East Gippsland, Victoria.

  • Our current opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily, however spa treatments are only available to be booked Thursday to Sunday. We are open every day of the year, including public holidays.

Please keep in mind that bookings are essential and when bathing in our pools we ask all guests to vacate the pools 15 minutes prior to closing time. This ensures you have ample time to dry, dress and depart after your visit.

  • In the interest of maintaining a pleasant bathing experience, Metung Hot Springs welcomes a set number of guests to bathe at any given time. We recommend you book ahead online to secure your preferred arrival time and receive the best rate.

To make sure we care for you with the utmost consideration and expertise, planning ahead means we can better accommodate your needs. Bookings are essential for all packages and services in our Spa. Our treatments are often booked four to six weeks in advanced during peak times, so it’s recommended that you plan ahead. If you have some flexibility, you may like to consider booking a treatment mid-week.

  • Spa treatments at Metung Hot Springs are booked in conjunction with bathing. This is because we believe hot springs bathing should be part of your holistic wellness journey, and because there are several benefits associated with bathing prior to having a treatment. These benefits include muscle relaxation, enhanced skin nourishment and a smoother transition from the outside world to your treatment room.

If you are unable to bathe in hot springs and would like to discuss this further, please call our experienced reservations team on (03) 5141 2300.

  • Our aim is to provide relaxing and balancing wellbeing experience that reconnects you with nature. All our massages are performed with a light to medium pressure. All of site geothermal bathing is included with all Day Spa treatments. We recommend bathing prior to your treatment to enjoy deeper benefits, eliminate body toxins, promote healthy skin and feel the therapeutic results more deeply.

  • While we don’t offer a private bathing experience in our bathing areas, our Hillside and Lagoon glamping accommodation packages include private bathing barrels on your personal deck overlooking the peaceful lagoon and native environment. Glamping is reserved for guests 18 years and older.

  • Our Day Spa is an adults-only space reserved for guests aged 16 years and over, ensuring a serene and relaxing environment. Families with younger guests are welcome to explore our bathing area, which offers a range of experiences suitable for all ages.

  • Footwear: To reduce the risk of slips, we recommend appropriate footwear around pools and any wet areas.

Water bottle: We recommend that you bring your own plastic or stainless steel water bottle to drink from during your visit. There are ample water taps around to fill them up.
